Pathophysiology Based Pharmacology and Disease Prediction

Aim

The participants will learn to understand the physiology and pathophysiology of the different organ system such as the immune system, the gastro-intestinal system and the ethiology of diabetes, the system of the skin and lungs, heart and circulation, liver and metabolism and the principles of neuropharmacology. Models will be shown that mimic the human disease. Target finding and validation will be demonstrated and discussed.
