Mathematical Modelling of Process System

Aim

Models are used in all engineering activity. Modelling, the development of a useful model, is often considered an art which requires both skills and experiences. The course Mathematical Modelling is focused on two parts: 1) The technique to formulate a correct mathematical model based on a given set of assumptions. 2) The technique, skill and art to select proper assumptions based model behaviour and experiments. The course contains a set of interactive lectures with small exercises, tutorials and projects. The course uses MATLAB, SIMULINK and FEMLAB extensively though out the course.
