Mass Spectrometry, Proteomics and Protein Research

Aim

This course trains you, both practically and theoretically, in advanced techniques for the isolation and analysis of proteins. Important improvements have recently been made in their mass spectrometric analysis. You are provided with background information, with a feel for the pitfalls and possibilities of state-of-the-art proteomic research, and with “hands­-on” experience in a number of important experimental procedures used in modern protein research.

No charge for registered AMC PhD students. Participants who are not AMC or AMC Medical Research BV employees are charged a fee of 750 euro (non-­profit sector) or 1.500 euro (commercial sector).
