Learning Systems for Molecular Data Analysis

Aim

The main objective is to offer a solid foundation in multivariate statistical learning with a focus on drug development but with examples also from bioinformatics, chemometrics and medical informatics. The basic concepts covered are compression and visualization of multivariate and sequential data, design of multivariate and sequential classification algorithms and multvariate linear and nonlinear regression modelling. A unique feature of this course is the broad as well as deep scope of topics and theory covered.
