Aim
The course describes mass spectrometers for analysis of molecules, peptides and proteins, different ionization methods and chromatographic techniques. It describes electron impact ionization for analysis molecules by gas chromatography mass spectrometry, electrospray ionization analysis, analysis of peptides, proteomics, 2-D gel electrophoreses, staining methods, MALDI-TOF and sample preparation.
