Geographic information systems (GIS) in disease control programmes

Aim

This course provides knowledge and skills on how GIS can be used for i) epidemiological assessment of patterns of disease in time and place; ii)assessment of accessibility to health care facilities and iii) visualizing Health Management Information – for monitoring and evaluation of programme performance such as programme indicators, human resources, and laboratory performance indicators.
