Aim
After the course the students are expected:
- to be familiar with current demographic trends with a focus on old age mortality;
- to be familiar with demographic concepts and measures and to understand the relation between fertility and mortality on one hand and population
size and structure on the other hand;
- to be able to analyze the interrelations between risk factor and disease panorama on one hand and demographic change and structure on the other.
