Clinical Data Management

Aim

This course trains you in the management skills needed to safeguard the integrity and enhance the quality of data collected during clinical scientific research. The following subjects are covered: considerations of case report forms for data collection and databases, data validation (data cleaning) and preparing the database for statistical analysis. The course will be a mixture of lectures and (computer) exercises. Computer exercises will mainly be performed with SPSS.
