Cell Growth and Differentiation (Core Fundamental part)

Aim

The students will be familiarised with the broad spectrum of current research on Cell Growth and Differentiation (NCMLS theme 3). Novel concepts and modern techniques within the fields of (epi)genetics and chemical biology will be presented. Principles and applications of functional genomics and proteomics will be introduced in the context of development, growth and differentiation and the consequences of deregulation thereof. Students will be equipped with state-of-the-art bioinformatics tools and use it on contemporary research questions in the field.
