Biomedical Research Techniques IX
Aim
The course ‘Biomedical Research Techniques’ is organized by and for PhD students and gives an overview of various techniques routinely used at the research labs within the Erasmus MC; including:
- (Quantitative) PCR, Sequencing & SNP-analysis, Sequencing & siRNA, Primer probes
- Applied Molecular Imaging: Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Nuclear, Optical in vivo
- Microscopy: Quantitative confocal microscopy, 4 Pi microscope, FRET, FRAP & computer modeling
- Mass Spectrometry & Viral expression systems
- Expression-microarrays & Data- and Text mining
- Cytotoxicity, ELISA and Flow cytometry
