Basic Laboratory Safety
Aim
The main goal of this course is to provide the knowledge and understanding of occupational health, safety and environmental (OSHE) issues needed to work safely in a laboratory, without unnecessary risk to yourself or others. Basic Laboratory Safety trains you in the AMC rules and procedures and in working safely with GMOs and with physical, chemical and biological agents. You also learn about the prevention of environmental pollution and the basic principles of firefighting.
