Aim
Theoretical background and practical issues in genetic association analysis will be addressed. Topics include basic statistical analysis of genetic association studies, SNP selection, linkage disequilibrium and estimation of haplotype frequencies.

Statistics: regression, likelihood methods and basic familiarity with SPSS (level PhD course "Medische Statistiek A and B")
Genetics: basic knowledge. Without basic knowledge on genetics one will not be able to follow the course
